We're so excited about this one. As the movie nears release, we sent the Sky Movies Superfan, Nidai Essat, to The Expendables junket, where he met up with the cast and writer/ director/ star, Sylvester Stallone himself. Sly was happy to talk about making his 80s throwback movie, and give us some details on the injuries he sustained on the shoot, as well as his thoughts on making a sequel to his brand new franchise.
Dolph Lundgren, Steve Austin and Terry Crews were among the cast of action actors who took part in writer/director/actor Sylvester Stallone's latest action film, The Expendables. And at this year's Comic Con, the threesome spoke about working on a Stallone set and handling the hard-core action scenes. Lundgren also talked about reuniting with Stallone and how he's changed since they last worked together way back in 1985 on Rocky IV.
"Well, I think as a director he's a little more thoughtful I'd say, a little more mellow maybe," said Lundgren. "So he kind of talks to the actors a little more about their scenes and their performances. I thought that was kind of nice, at least for me.
